Support for the implementation of the Longships CCS Project and Northern Lights

The Storting has approved the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy's budget for 2021, in line with the Government's proposals.

The state budget for 2021 was approved on December 14th 2020, with funding for the Longship Project.

The project includes the establishment of facilities for the reception and storage of CO2 in the Energy Park. It also facilitates the production of blue hydrogen from natural gas with integrated CO2 capture.
