The Government will support the implementation of the capture, transport and storage of CO2 in Norway. The Energy Park is the selected location for reception and storage.

In the Government's press release 132/20, it is presented to the Storting how the implementation of the capture, transport and storage of CO2 in Norway is to be supported.

The project has been named "Longship" and includes the establishment of a reception terminal for CO2 in the Energy Park in Øygarden.
