The Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Marte Mjøs Persen, believes that the State's large investment in the Energy Park in Øygarden is important for achieving Europe's climate targets.

During her visit to the Energy Park in Øygarden, where CO2 reception center are established for storage of CO2, Minister of Petroleum and Energy Marte Mjøs Persen stated that this is an important commitment not only for Norway, but also for the EU. In order to achieve the climate targets, capture and storage of CO2 will be necessary.
