H2 Production in the Energy Park will be the first producer of climate-neutral hydrogen from natural gas with CO₂ capture. The facility, which is now under construction, will be the world's first of its kind.
Already in the autumn of 2022, the hydrogen facility at the Energy Park will be ready.
The company H2 Production, which is a subsidiary of CCB Energy, is actively in the process of preparatory work, planning and facilitation of hydrogen production that will begin in the autumn when the facility is ready.
Here, hydrogen will be produced from natural gas, and through the Norwegian-developed technology provider ZEG, CO₂ capture will be integrated into the production process.
The result will be pure, climate-neutral hydrogen.
