They capture CO₂ directly from the air in Iceland. Now they are considering establishment in the Energy Park.

The Swiss Climeworks considers the Energy Park as a potential location for the establishment of new and larger facilities that can capture CO₂ directly from the air.

In September 2021, the world's first large-scale CO₂ capture facility was launched in Iceland. Now the company is looking for new potential areas, and has turned its attention to the Energy Park in Øygarden as a relevant location for establishment.
